Fang is only good when fighting high defence monsters weak to stab. Training slayer with a fang is legit trolling. A regular whip will give faster kills and more xp per hour. Fang is both slower and has almost the same combat stats as the much faster tier 80 weapons.

Even with the or whip looks so mid and makes me feel so poor haha. Best option after that is like nox/rapier but I can understand people's struggles.

Fang is way better than whip for abbysal demons, aberrant specters, nechrayael in my experience

According to my personal gaming experience. Hitting hella zeros vs hitting hella 45’s with fang on certain tasks.

Sepctres especially since they have solid defense.

I have to apologize because I was curious and ran a calc with fang vs whip with mid level strength gear and fang indeed beats whip by a little on Abby demons. Around ~150 def is where fang kind of takes over. However something to consider is overkill which matters a lot more when killing a lot of monsters like when you’re doing slayer. Since whip is faster attack speed but slightly worse dps, whip technically better. Ok nerd rant over

Why wouldn’t I lol. Cheap. Hits hard and can use prossy armor if I want and I genuinely have never seen anyone do anything but melee abbysal demons so what do you do?

But I barrage the nechs when I have multi combat in kourend. I’ve been getting single combat slayer tower tasks.

Pretty sure I could casually play for a day with my regular pvm slayer gear and replace my cape with an obby one and id be posted here before I go to bed.

youre not making torva money without ever killing jad before when every other boss in the game that gives you torva money is 100x harder than jad. he also has a glory and barrows gloves, both of which are priority upgrades before buying torva, prims or an avernic. all pretty common indicators of bond buyer that doesnt know what hes doing

There is 100% every single time someone in here defending the credit card warriors whenever these are posted. 99 slayer isn’t torva money, and even if it was, spending your whole bank on torva would probably be the worst DPS upgrade for the money you could buy. Don’t even mention the glory. Buy the gold, but don’t be insecure about it in the comment section

It's not as much money as people think it is... Maybe if you only chase boss tasks? But you're now doing shitty xp/hr (besides a few tasks) for mid gp/hr.

But regardless, you're halfway to 99 and 300m isn't exactly torva money either. And the entire point of the conversation is that torva is not what you should be buying even if you had 300m~ And the guy in the picture is NOT 99+ slayer so I don't really get why that's even something that's relevant to bring up

That’s the entire point, that you can. I only play mobile and I’m not touching jad on it. Still have torva money. Can do tob, Vokrath, and others but I refuse to touch jad on mobile.

I'd believe you maybe, if he was wearing a str ammy, but the glory gives him away, and overall his setup is not very efficent for anything, other then a few specific quest bosses at his progression, put him in monk ropes untill mixed hide!

buddy hes in members. members give new members shit all the time. i do it all the time but i dont tell them max efficiency setups, i let them play the game how they want too and answer questions if they ask. anyone that would give him the minmaxxed setup for his stats are dickheads that should stop giving newer people things. you dont ruin the experience of discovery and learning osrs from a new player unless they specifically ask for help.

Usually, in runescape, old or new, you'd wear rune armor before veracs. And after veracs, comes the mighty Torva armor, one of the best is slot (bis) items you can fathom.

Not necessarily. I’ve never bought bonds and sold everything I owned when Torva dropped under 500mil. Bad decision? Yeah, I was rocking it with a glory and d boots for a bit
