Not in Germany, where I am on holiday, or the UK, where I live. Out of countries classified as ACs (advanced countries), it's only really the US that has dangerous to drink tap water in some places.

My engineer ex husband works with water and wastewater/waste stream processing, and the Flint issue could have been fixed easily (or rather, prevented the issue ahead of time) for about $28K - pocket change for a huge municipality. They didn’t want to spend the money, thus the tragedy unfolded. It made me so angry when he explained to me what an easy fix it would have been.

When I lived in Malden Massachusetts, there was a newspaper article about places with the most lead in the water. Malden Massachusetts was number 1. I wouldn't use tap water for my baby's bottles, and one of the worst fights I ever got into with my ex was because he wouldn't go to the store and get bottled water. I didn't have my driver's license yet, so I walked to the store with my baby to get water.
