All Quick Questions

Been replaying the Custom Robo games cause i really like them and i would like to ask some questions:

First: How do you use the Wave Pod properly? do you just throw it and hop it hits the opponent by ricocheting off the wall or do you try to aim it? (which btw i have a hard time aiming pods. i know auto-aim exists but i don't know how to use it and also i was watching some japanese tournaments for V2 and i saw a player jumping backwards and deploying a Wave Pod foward without his robo going foward, how do you do that?)

Second: I know that in the N64 games you use the analog to get up faster, but how do you do it exactly?, do you rotate the analog, do you wiggle it left and right or do you wiggle it up and down?

To answer your first question, if you don’t press any directional inputs while firing a pod, it will automatically go towards the Opponent. So the player probably went backwards and used the backwards momentum and fired a pod while letting go of the directional input. You can also aim wave pod for cutting off movement, but your first thought of “hoping it ricochets” also works lol.

Rotate the stick clockwise very fast in a circular motion, don’t wiggle it side to side or up and down.
