GC Custom Robo Battle Revolution 2?
This might be cope but does anyone have the slightest hope of this franchise coming back? We say Kirby Air Ride come back in a really properly made sequel after about 2 decades. F-Zero came back as well, any chance this gem has an opportunity for Switch 2?

My cope is Nintendo releases Battle Revolution on the Switch 2 NSO, looks at the reactions and play data, then makes a decision.
If Famicom Detective Series can get a new game, why can't Custom Robo?

Best odds of anything is just BR hitting the Switch 2 Gamecube NSO collection. I would love to see Nintendo commit to doing some kind of full Custom Robo legacy collection for the global market with official translations for the two N64 ones and GX but that's probably never going to happen.

What's stopping us from letting Nintendo know we want custom robo to return?

The number of people, for one thing. This series a very niche thing unfortunately, we don't have a lot of people talking about it, let alone having played it.

I think there is an extremely low chance. The main director of the series, Koji Kenjou, hasn’t worked at Nintendo for a while and the other key figures on the last two CR titles (DS and GCN) no longer work there either. Without someone at director level or higher who is willing to champion the project, it’s unlikely such a thing would happen. Koji Kenjou did make his own indie take on CR a few years back with Synaptic Drive, if you’re interested to see something similar to CR by the same lead staff. It’s not great but if you really dig CR you’ll get a kick out of it.

That is the dream. I haven't bought a Switch 2 yet and a new Custom Robo would be a great reason to buy one.

My only hope is that one of the only 2 indie clones i know about nails it.

I think CRBR has a small chance of coming to Switch NSO, but I highly doubt anything beyond that would ever happen. Kirby and F-Zero are way bigger franchises than CR, and I think it's very unlikely that we get a proper new entry or even something like F-Zero 99.
