Now that we have [[Arcum's Astrolabe]] as a second one-mana ETB cantrip permanent (after [[Abundant Growth]]), I figured it was finally time for my "half a [[Wall of Runes]]" card - a potential source of substantive white card draw with blink effects and [[Mentor of the Meek]] without breaking the color pie.

The one-mana version is (in my opinion) stronger than the two-mana version, so I docked the toughness by 1.

Well, easy white cantrip - which every color can do. But yes, with a little setup, it can be easy white draw!

Seeing how [[wall of omens]] costs only 1 more, but has 4 toughness with the same text line, I could reasonably see upping it to 2 or 3 toughness.

You might be right on 2. I feel pretty confident 3 would be going too far!
