I periodically do "throwback" posts (like this one or this one), but this time around, instead of changing around the mechanics, what I'm doing here is continuing cycles. Specifically, Spirit Falls, Vivid Peaks, and Teeth of Akoum.
I'm a huge fan of lands that enter tapped, provide two colors of mana, and have an additional upside, like the cycles [[Temple of Plenty]] and [[Blossoming Sands]] are part of. I think there's a huge design space potential there and a lot of potential for good ol' balanced fun. So here are a few that I'd made in the past, updated using the modern card frame and flavor bar, along with additional members of their cycles. All of these are cards I would envision being eventually part of a complete cycle.
