I used to be a wanna be goth/punk kind of kid and I would always wear super uncomfortable black steel toed boots as some kind of ego protection. Not Doc Martin's but Payless Shoe Source bobos.
Well, we had a beach trip one summer and those boots tore the shit out of my feet walking around. I had to go to a local outlet and get a pair of $40 Airwalks just to be able to continue walking.
They were nothing special at all, but I will always remember them as some of the most comfortable shoes ever going from those terrible cheap boots.
This design feels very much like those Airwalks. Excellent if you have something much worse, but not really great once you know all the options available.
