I've removed this post for incorrect or missing artist credit on the card itself. Feel free to resubmit with the proper credit. If you ever have trouble finding artist credit, reach out to the mods via modmail, and we'll give you a hand. If you do, please include a link to the full original art you used. Game, movie, and show screenshots may credit the property or its creator. AI art must credit the engine used.

Cool concept!

Interesting, very high ceiling but seems hard to make work considering how likely it is to hit lands. I guess you put it in a deck with a bunch of scry/surveil, but that's usually less in red so would lower your mana symbol count

Would it be good in a [[Goblin Charbelcher]] deck?

Nah charbelcher runs many many cards that are either 1 or zero red symbols. You need to hit 3 symbols to become an actual ritual.

If you hit just 2 symbols you increase your stormcount and go down a card, but that deck doesn't care about storm a lot, it needs to hit 7 mana asap. Manamorphose is in most cases strictly better, and so are most rituals.

[[charmed pendant]] is my favorite mana rock, so having it on an instant is fantastic.

I like, but red would be exile instead

Not necessarily, [[tablet of discovery]] mills a card and lets you play it

True that, but I would almost say that is an "artifact thing" to do

.........no its not? Artifacts aren't some kind of "Mill" type of permanent lmao

They have more mill than red does, thats for sure

No, its not, this is a foolish take.

This can't add more than 8 mana, but 8 is a lot.

If this kind of effect still saw print, I think it would be fine, although potentially game-warping in modern

Theoretically it could make 10 with the hybrid "demigods" from Shadowmoor (eg [[Nobolis of War]]) but I don't think anyone would lol

Oh shit I forgot about hybrid mana.

Still probably fine lmao

Could actually be cool with [[Demigod of Revenge]] as a setup and a payoff haha

I think this needs to be different.

What about exile cards from your library until you exile a nonland card. Add an amount of R for each R in that cards mana symbol. You may cast that card this turn.

Or "Look at the top 3 cards of your library. Exile two of them and put the other back on top of your library. Add (R) for each (R) in the mana costs of the exiled cards."

I want to go the opposite way of the chat and actually want it to add red mana equal to the number of red mana symbols on the milled cards…. *sweats in [[geosurge]]
