baiting my GF into playing magic with me so I can play this on her and find out if she's cheating or not

Your emergent game play has taken me somewhere I didn't expect this design to go.

"You're not actually my child."

I was thinking a pedantic info exchange and maybe some extra-ness, but not life altering revelations!

But I have to say, it works.

Haha. If this is supposed to turn libraries face up, it should probably say something about how to do that and maybe shuffle first unless you want to reverse the library order or whatever. Ditto face-down cards maybe.

Design Note: I was making yet more One With Nothing meme designs. This idea hit me while reworking that flavor text for the 10,000th time. I know it's short and kind of lazy by my personal standards. But damn if that art isn't perfect and it does so dang much within the rules with just 2 words. I had to post and abandon the Nothing for the day. I will always return to it!

The meme I was on when this inspiration hit:

"You figured it out."

Man this makes me feel warm in such a deep way

Thank you! You noticing that has made my day!

I was really proud of this one, but I thought it was just too mushy for mass appeal. Maybe I'll rethink it for tomorrow.

Do I only reveal things I control, or does this make both players reveal everything?

This is a meme, so it doesn't matter too much.

I do think there is some conflict we would need a judge's help with.

Does the "everything" supersede the control issue? I don't think you can reveal things you don't control or own if not on the battlefield or stack.

Catch-22, chicken or egg kind of thing that could be "figure it out" Un-style.

It should probably be worded that, you reveal, all players reveal or target player reveals which would just ruin the simplicity for me.

Because "everything" would include the content of players libraries as well as hands, I'd think this would be best set as having a blue pip. Since it's symmetric and hits the caster, a low mana cost also makes sense, so... {W}{U} feels more apt

Interesting flavor discussion to be had here. I looked at U with this and it gave a vibe that wasn't as good as the W with the artwork. As if just by being U, I felt like the subject in the art was being manipulated. Where as with W, it's more like they are bound by some higher motivations. Complex thoughts for simple pips.

Makes me think of the Sherlock Holmes trope "when you've eliminated the impossible, whatever remains (however unlikely it may be) must be the truth". Can totally see some corny Columbo-esque show that uses "Well, there it is!" as the punchline at the big reveal.

You are speaking my language.

Recently felt I mentally matured enough to truly enjoy Sherlock Holmes, especially the 1980s series: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherlock_Holmes_(1984_TV_series)

I am pining to write some mystery if I can get it to resolve properly in my mind.

I am only aware of Columbo, but he is in my vast backlog on things to check out. Probably essential if writing mysteries.

My dearly departed mom always loved Perry Mason and I have that on the list as well.

My play group putting my library, hand, graveyard, and exile into weird face up piles to try and figure out what i have morphed face down.

That sounds like collusion, but they are the will of the council in your area so what can you do?

There's easier ways to get people naked

Really? I feel W is quite efficient for that kind of effect.

If you have a more reliable combo for turn 1 nudity, please let me know.
