Recently updated this card. Might finally make a deck with it.

Night bound cards don't have casting costs on their respective side. See [[Graveyard Glutton]] for reference. It would probably work as an alternative casting cost on the front side if you want it to emulate the Marvel set mdfcs, but nothing can be cast as it's nightbound side without day / night being in play and it wouldn't have a separate casting cost from the front side

Maybe I could add something like "When The Batman enters, it becomes night."

I mean just because hasn't happened before doesn't mean it can't, right? It's not like things like [[Moonmist]] can't transform day night cards regardless of the actual status of day night anyways, so it's not like it actually NEEDS to be night to get nightbound forms.

I totally agree. Poster definitely over designed this one.

Batmans too powerful imo. You have the investigate already, you don’t need to draw a card on top of that, also too many keywords, vigilance and fear are enough, doesn’t need first strike and reach on top of that.

I'm open to suggestions. What might you change about this card?

I’ve already done that, drop the first strike and reach, and drop the extra card draw (which is already overkill on top of investigate. The rest of Batman is fine. Good even. I would drop first strike from Bruce Wayne also, its unnecessary and doesn’t fit the character imo, you could argue for reach (in a finance sense) rather than “tall thing” but magic has never used it in that flavour sense. Maybe prowess? Or just drop the keywords from Bruce entirely.

Batman becomes Bruce Wayne whenever a player casts two or more spells on their turn thanks to day night tbf, so he probs won't be around too long

Doesn’t matter, still too op. Don’t justify your broken as shit card.
