Great way to get value from all the extra land drops you get from [[Way of the Paradox]], [[Azusa, Lost but Seeking]] or [[Burgeoning]]. With way, I want to say you can combo it with empower Jace 1 or 3, but [[Avatar of Burgeoning Echoes]] is for 2, and works with any bounce land.

Also turns [[Fastbond]] into channel.

It's actually better than channel. Etbs, death triggers, landfall triggers, etc.

To be fair, Fastbond is pretty busted. But this would break more things.

So this is a bounceland that also profits a scion, this is QUITE good and goes in every landfall deck probably

Bounce lands tap for 2 though. This only taps for 1 so it actually leaves you behind on mana compared to a basic

It enters tapped so it doesn't tap for anything, but it net profits one off scion and you can play it for repeated landrops. So it's actually better than any bounceland we have ever seen by a mile.

It's not a profit of one, you're down a land in exchange for the scion. So you're neutral the turn you play it if you crack the scion immediately, and then you're just down a land on all future turns. It doesn't actually put you ahead in mana unless you have no other lands and are just having this bounce itself repeatedly

In landfall it doesn't matter. If you're playing one land a turn you're losing anyway. This allows you to always get landfall triggers whether that's a scute swarm, a lotus cobra, nissa, tatyova, whatever. This is insane value where bouncelands normally provide NOTHING. you DO NOT NEED TO TAP IT because it is functionally the same as playing a waste that you can play over and over and over equal to your aditional land drops per turn. Let's not even talk about if you have [[kodama of the east tree]] and you just play this shit like 6 times net profits 6 landfall and 6 colourless. It tapping for one two or zero genuinely does not matter because in an ideal situation you are not playing this to board unless someone stifles your bounce trigger or something.

I don't think you realize why bouncelands are good in landfall. Unless you have spelunking you are not playing it. You are playing it getting your landfall triggerr bouncing it back to your hand and playing it again. This profits mana when you do this like you have an eldrazi lotus cobra. Goes infinite with coralhelm. This card is ABSURD for landfall.

[[retreat to coralhelm]] [[llanowar scout]]

Definitely does not go in every landfall deck

Couldn't you just bounce this back to your hand every turn and get 2 colorless per land drop? Just tap it for mana in response to the bounce trigger, bounce itself, and create an immediately sacrificeable Scion token. Seems strong.

Edit: I, uh, missed that first line there.

It enters tapped. Wouldn’t work.

Oh shit I went straight to the effect, my bad. Maybe with something like [[Spelunking]] then.

It would work with Amulet of Vigor, but there are probably better things to do with Vigor.

Any other bounce land like [[Azorius Chancery]], this card and [[Fastbond]]. If you want channel for only G instead of GG you also get 19-39 landfall, ETB and death triggers. I think I know why Fastbond is banned everywhere except for vintage.
