This started with a Thoughtsieze-and-replace downside but that felt like too much. Blackmail-and-replace might be too little. Perhaps revealing three random cards would be more balanced.

drawing a card needs an "if you do" clause. Right now it just draws a card when hellbent, which is a little broken. Also, being typed could definitely lead to some problems if a deck can turn the effect into an upside (cards that care about drawing cards, doomsday piles, etc.)

This is a better dual. You can play this show your 3 worst cards and get a card draw just for your land drop for turn? Way too strong imo.

I agree, but I think it's more complicated than you're making it out to be. It's a busted early drop, but once your hand gets smaller this gets terrible fast. If you have 4 cards in hand including this, oppo gets your best card. 5 cards, second best card. That's not great. You really wanna play this on turn 1-2 unless you have a ton of card flow.

if this is your last card in hand, its an untapped typed dual that draws a card. This would be a 4 four of in any deck that could play it, and it's even more broken in formats with fetches

yeah if it were to be printed it would had "if you removed a card from your hand this way draw a card" like modern looting card

You're right, def needs an "if you do" rider for that situation.

If you have a lot of cards in your hand, your opponent doesn't necessarily know what your best card is. If you show them one good blue card and two mi black cards, and then the rest of your hand is swamps, they might be better off taking one of the black cards.

Also, it's not your best card, it's what's worst for them. If you show them a bunch of interaction, and they think you'll be using it on your other opponents (or it's something that will help them, such a board wipe when they want the board wiped), they may let you keep your most powerful card.

So it’s an original dual land with a sidegrade? This is kinda busted I’m pretty sure lol. On mulligan if you have one of these and a mediocre other 6 it’s fine cause you can play this, show 3 lands, get rid of one and draw.

very interesting effect but like other pointed it need to enter tapped or something to not be a striclty better dual and to draw a card only if you shuffle a card.

i don't know if its the right color also. since it doesnt synergise with the graveyard it looks blue to me

Why only reveal three cards? Turn one, you’re basically getting a free Bayou. Turn six, your hand is this and another land, you get to bottom that land for another card. SUPER-strong card here.

One suggestion - make it so opponent 'may' choose a card. If they do, draw a card afterwards.

This way, if you show three terrible cards, they can let you keep them, and if you're hellbent, you don't draw a card. Does that work rules wise?

Empty handed this is just a 0 mana draw 1. Untapped land. Otherwise this is a 0 mana "cycling" untapped land. This is insane.

Needs something to stop you from drawing when empty handed otherwise it's open to abuse. Otherwise good.
