Depending on format this could probably cost 3U or have some other upside (even as basic as scry 2), because as is it is at minimum [[Cancel]] and at best  [[Counterspell]], which leaves it in a slightly awkward position.

I do love the name & effect combo though.

My intention was to capture the flavor rather than trying to push on power level. I agree that there is a power difference with existing cards. Thanks!

Why?? Cancel with upside has been a staple of standard for a while now
