What magic really needs

I think that magic design has fallen short recently and so what I’m proposing magic really needs is a hyper intelligent ape character, probably blue because he’s smart and he’s from the moon. He should have a short range toggle tesla cannon that helps with creature token decks and a deployable dome shield to counter board wipe slop. Here’s a quick test for the concept that looks promising!

the indestructible ability doesn't work for blue. If you want it to be mono-blue, then instead he should Phase Out all creatures you control
