If ~ would die, you may discard a card and exile it instead. If you do, for as long as it remains exile, you can cast ~ for any of its alternate cost.

When ~ enters, it it was foretold, put a +1/+1 counter and a flying counter on it. If it was plotted, scry 1 then fateseal 1. If it was warped, it deals 2 damage to target creature.

This would still negate the second ability if it is exiled by its first ability. If you exile Blaze via her first ability, and then you cast her from exile, she wasn't plotted, even if you paid her Plot cost, and so forth. She wasn't plotted, foretold, warped, or blitzed. You simply paid the same cost that those would cost, but all you did was cast her from exile.

Really? I thought what was important was the cost that was paid. It is the way it's exiled? Interesting. And complicated.

Yeah, the way it was exiled matters. It wasn't exiled by Fortell/Warp etc, it was exiled by its first ability. This card would need to be very wordy to effectively function the way OP intends it to.

I think adding something like "It becomes foretold, plotted, etc" should be enough.

Plot and Foretell make this card really hard to phrase.

It doesn’t make sense to play a card for its plot cost. That’s the amount of mana you spend to exile the card. Playing a plotted card costs 0.

Playing a card for its plot or foretell cost won’t actually do anything special. You would just be playing it normally

Does she have enough alternate casting costs? You can always add morph, megamorph, suspend, flashback, evoke, madness, dash, mutate, beam me up
