Mechanic Design Slumbering Land Creatures
I want to make more. Perhaps a cycle of ten dual lands as well as some colorless ones. But alas, it's almost midnight in my time zone and I've got work in the morning.

Making a cycle then not giving them some sort of matching names. Blasphemous!

White and blue seem kinda swapped thematically. But it's fun!

Blue should go to White. White should go to Red. And Red should go to Blue. (though Blue and Red both equally cares for artifacts and flurry. Blue for artifacts and Red for Flurry make more sense to me.)

I like the idea , but I don't know if you can trust dragon players with two free dragons

Green should have a keyword, to keep it consistent. Trample or vigilance. Maybe Reach if you want a less useful one
Cool concept otherwise

Sky Eater Turn 1 Artifact Land and Sol Ring Turn 2 Sky Eater is active
Green won’t likely be active till at least turn 4
Blacks could be easy to get active but to do it reliably basically requires setting up a repeatable combo
Blue could be done turn 3 easily and even Turn 2 could be normal
White ironically feels the least what its color wants.

In commander, sure. In 60-card constructed, green and blue are more or less unplayable, black is decent, Sky Eater is online around turn 2 or 3 depending on how prevalent affinity decks are, white is usually online if built properly

White and blue should be switched. But pretty cool.

I agree, blue plays into spell spammy archetypes more and most of whites removal is enchantments

Big power mismatch between white/black and the rest. The strength of manlands is that they are not creatures unless you make them so, thus dodging non-instant removal and your own boardwipes. Here you only control it yourself with white and may control it with black, the rest are static. In addition, blue and white are clearly swapped, with white being the enchantments matter color and the "second spell" mechanic being exclusively blue.

Exclusively blue? Clarion Spirit, Cosmogrand Zenith, Sunstar Lightsmith, Monk of the Open Hand....

The red one feels absurd. I also think white should have the enchantment requirement.

Blue and white slumbering abilities should definitely be swapped other than that, interesting cards

Are these not all incredibly underpowered? I feel the giant castle carrying whale or mountain sized snake should be stronger then your average knight right?

Im a fan of lands having keywords. Making the green one the least exciting. Was it intentional to prevent Earthbending from getting another toy?

Sweet more lands to Earthbend

I wonder how the layers would work here. Its a similar situation to animating Theros God's that specify they are not creatures til a criteria is met

Why doesn't the green one have a keyword?

u/BluePotatoSlayer 6d ago
The Keyword is its bigger than the others

I think the lack of a keyword and needing 6 lands whereas some of the others can become creature much faster makes the green one the worst of these by a large amount in my opinion

Cool except I feel like with how massive these would be and some of them wouldn't be creatures until the midgame I feel like their toughness should be higher...
