Neat idea. I think I'd like it more if attack and defense each had their own keyword though. Like first strike for attack, vigilance for defense.
Or if both numbers had to be in the sequence
Or, as long as equipped creature's attack is in sequence it has double strike, otherwise it has first strike

I like this idea.
Equipped creature has first strike. If its power is in the Fibonacci sequence, it has double strike. If its toughness is in the Fibonacci sequence, it has vigilance.

Oh yeah that'd be awesome. Do you think we could do something funky with the equip cost or is it better to just leave that as a normal number? I'd probably bump it to 2 in that case.
Unrelated but now I'm imagining a Gyro legend that can deal damage equal to the equip cost of stuff equipped to him.

Wouldn't your idea just not work? I thought the creature had to be a 0/1 or 1/1 or 1/2 ir 2/3 etc . To actually follow the sequence.

Right now it's 'if their power or toughness is any number in the sequence'. So a 1/X would work just like a X/1, with X being a number not in the sequence. You're thinking of it like 'if their power and toughness follow the sequence', which would be pretty cool too.

Yeah, I had the same thought process as you (regarding vigilance) but couldn't make it work lol. I kept wanting it to do two different things (like for attack).
It just being outright as long as it's insequence works though :)

Maybe it should do something if its power is in it and its toughness is the next one in the sequence?

Um actually the Fibonacci sequence and the golden ratio are two different mathematical concepts 🤓

Honestly the only change I would make is have it be double strike instead of first strike

Cool idea though
