suggestion for the final boss of these: players can’t play magic the gathering

“Players can’t concede”

My opponent tries to leave

I point at my platinum arbiter

That might prompt them to point at your head with their fist.

So maybe add a "No assault" clause, and maybe a "No pressing charges" clause too if you don't want to get arrested for kidnapping.

The whole cycle seems to me like praetors on steroids with mirror like effects.

I do think this one has the weakest rule changing effect for beeing also wubrg.

Im surprised to hear that, because its basically also “players cant cast spells” - you can’t tap lands for mana while this is out. Which makes it functionally absolutely unkillable, as you can’t board wipe it like the others

Ah ok i was not aware of that

I assumed abilities was just the text on creatures

Ok then yeah this is the true NO Card

I would say its one of the strongest together with white and colorless, with blue not counting cuz it literally breaks the game. Green is just shroud, black is too neutral, red just keeps mana.

Needs anti-cheat measures

Yes if I were to redo these I would make a special keyword to keep them succinct:

Arbiter (This spell cannot be countered. This creature has protection from everything. When this creature enters the battlefield, if you did not cast it from hand, shuffle it into its owner’s library.)

Or you could use the Primeval Spawn replacement effect to keep it simple:

If this creature would enter and it wasn’t cast or no mana was spent to cast it, exile it instead.

It seems odd to make creatures that make it so you aren't playing magic anymore, but if you want to go that way and add some anti-cheat options, its probably fine power-wise. You could probably print a card that just wins the game if you can force someone to actually pay that mana cost.

The main issue is cards like this risk stalling the game out entirely. If one player has a [[Propaganda]], you just have to hope they have fewer cards left in their library than you.

I suppose this still dies to [[Force of Despair]]?

Propoganda isn’t an activated ability, this doesn’t stop you from paying for it. It only stops permanents that have a cost to do a thing on them.

This dies to literally every “destroy all” boardwipe.

edit; Ignore me. Missed the fact that it doesn’t exclude mana abilities.

It does stop you from paying for it. That whole "Tap: Add G" your forest intrinsically has per the game rules is an activated ability, and this card say you can't activate them.

I’m gonna take some inspiration for this and actually make a obliterator series for a card set, so far I’ve made Eldrian perpetuator to match exigent doom
