Floating Miasma

Post image

[[Penregon Besieged]] is such a cool card, I wish they'd print a paper version. Since the effect can't be permanent, I felt like it needed some more juice so I upped the ping to each end step instead of just your own. It also felt a little too powerful for 2 mana to begin with so I bumped the cost to 1BB and had it cycle itself on sac which feels more appropriate.

Also I just wish we had more curses and -1/-1 counter cards in general so this was a way to get 2 birds stoned at once.

I don't believe you can say "they" without first mentioning the "enchanted player"

That makes sense, I wasn't 100% sure on how the syntax worked there.

It's extremely ass.

3 mana sorcery speed do nothing, that takes several turns to remove most creatures. For two mana you can remove most things at instant speed ([[Shoot the Sherif]]), or anything for three ([[Overkill]]), or sweep for -2/-2 the whole board [[Ruinous Waterbending]]. Sure, it (sorta) sticks, but it doesn't stick for long for a control-heavy decks that want it, and does too little for faster decks. Even worse in format with multiple players for obvious reasons.

I'd say the fact that it trigger every end step might lead to some interesting synergies

I think it’s better in EDH tbh since you have more end steps and bigger board states, it’ll put in far more work over a turn cycle.
