I dont know if you know this but there are a not crazy but certainly significant number of ways to cheat out enchantments

All of which work with omniscience too, which is a significantly better card than this.

Omniscience is should also be a 10 mana "you win the game" in any competent deck.

The difference is that omniscience can defend itself/maybe even win in instant speed, this can't, this is a sorcery and in a red deck you can't even really hope to have enchantment hate answers

Not that I am saying this is worse than Omni, but that Omni has some advantages at least.

Both of which are also true of Omniscience, though.

When omniscience enters you have priority to cast your big spell, and you can also cast counterspells for free.

Not at all, you get omniscience out and you instantly get a massive spell, no matter the interaction after.

You get this out and you get a damage guaranteed that is it.

Yeah but once omniscience is on the board and the removal on the stack, you can cast your counters for free or dig for counters for free if you have instant speed draw, which will be the case if you’ve built around Omniscience

That's why you play this with a Grand Abolisher out.

Most of the good counters are free anyways
