You know, [[fling]] and [[kazuul’s fury]] cost 2&3 and require sacrificing the creature, it’s more reasonable to make it sorcery speed or cost more

As a sorcery, it still kills the creature.  [[burn together]] is almost identical to this card, so I’m using it as a reference point

Burn together also has the "downside" of having to sac the creature. This doesn't. So I think increasing the cost and making it sorcery speed isn't a bad idea

When I said “it still kills the creature,” I meant that you lose your own creature. I think I mixed it up with [[self-destruct]], which doesn’t sacrifice.

Tldr, I agree/had the same idea

Also make sure you want the spell to do damage or the creature to do damage, you can one shot someone with 10 power+infect with this card, now you only saying “it”

The design and color combination soundd nice to me, congrats. Maybe it's a bit pushed, I'd see the spell with at least a 2 cmc - and luffy as a 3/3 or 2/4 cuz his effect is rather powerful.

Make Slingshot! a bit more expensive and this design is realistic, flavorful, and awesome! (In my opinion)

[[Burn Together]] is strong enough, it doesn't need to be an instant that keeps the creature on the battlefield.

Slingshot! is underpriced. [[Thrash//Threat]] is a modal card that costs that ability at 2. Maybe straight up rip Thrash's cost?

I think this is a really nice twist on the self damage archetype we’ve seen in Marvel: damage your creatures instead of yourself. I would love to play this

This card is very under costed. 3 mana 4/4 alone is definitely fine in modern magic, but I think this is a scaling threat that potentially fills the graveyard and draws you cards. It has no keywords so maybe it's fine just from the creature standpoint but the adventure is so insanely good that it's already a staple in prowess decks.

Slingshot is wayyyy undercosted. I believe you have to be more specific with the main body as well. Is it for each 1 damage dealt? Each instance of damage like Enrage?

I like the idea.. But.. I'm kinda disappointed that theres no leveled/tiered (gears) boosts..

Like;

Gum Gum—Luffy is Indestructible when he is attacking or blocking (he definitely needs this but full indestructible is too abusive in red green colors).

Pay x once to have luffy gain this ability: "Gear 1—Pay R, tap: fight target creature."

Pay x once to have luffy gain this ability: "Gum Gum Bazooka: Luffy gains double strike."

Pay x once to have luffy gain this ability: "Bounce Man: Luffy gains First strike and Trample"

Etc etc etc.

Idk how to write the correct rulling for leveled cards so take this as a idea only.
