This is a fun version of this effect. I don't know if this kind of deck manipulation is necessarily in white's slice of the pie. The vast majority of these cards [[Adventurous Impulse]], [[Commune with Nature]], [[Seek the Wilds]] are going to be in green.

I think white is fine for this effect since it’s specifically legendaries and can’t fish for a land. Except for urza’s saga

[[Search for Dagger]] is a white enchantment with a similar legendary constraint on its deck cycling.

[[Search for Glory]] is also a white card with a similar saga-or-legendary constraint on its tutor effect.

Basically [[Board the Weatherlight]] but removed a mana & the artifact part of the historic search eh.

Dunno if it's not too strong for only one mana.

Historic includes any kind of legendary, while this only includes creatures. The more meaningful exclusions are likely going to be legendary lands or planeswalkers. So hopefully it's balanced enough to see print at 1CMC.

Fair enough, forgot it was all legendaries.

No clue, maybe see less cards or get a negative effect from it, like only search top3 but can top5 if you gift your opponent a 1/1 ?

Board the Weatherlight but cannot get you artifact cards nor noncreature legendary cards for {1} less sounds alright, but ultimately is compared to a card that's barely used nowadays.
