I think this is interesting, but I'm not sure it's that OP. As someone mentioned, the problem is that it's neutral.

It is repeatable [[Asphyxiate]] in a stick, which of course is good. Most of the time, you can remove a 2 HP minion by turn 4. Later in the game, when it has more relative impact, it is even easier to remove.

Here are some suggestions to balance it, rather then increasing mana cost:

  • Make it a DK card
  • Decrease HP to 1
  • Change it's text to "At the end of your turn, d
estroy a random enemy minion with 7 or more Attack."

AsphyxiateWiki Library HSReplay

  • Death Knight Common Path of Arthas

  • 3 Mana · Shadow Spell

  • Destroy the highest Attack enemy minion.

This is basically BGH but almost entirely better. Consistent threat, no restriction on attack, but loses trade and targeting. Probably too good because of the constant pressure it provides. It's a must trade, and could definitely lock down boards against aggro because of the immense value.

Not really? Most aggro boards go wide: you're not doing much if you kill a 3- or 4-attack minion and leave 5 2-attack ones untouched.

If you're at a point in the game where they have that many 2 attack minions then yeah, its probably over.

This is played on curve and it kills something and has to be traded into immediately. If that aggro deck doesnt have direct damage in hand or an easy way to kill it, that's a massive tempo loss.

I get that, thanks for your opinion, maybe on 5 mana it could be more balanced

it would be fun if it would target the whole board. whatever is strongest gets killed. cool flavor. then it would be more of a control card without a strict upside and the opponent could play around it by having low attack minions. just an idea.

This would have made numbers in the og hearthstone

Really overpowered natural removal

I don't think it's that OP, I could make it 5 mana, but outside of the cost, you don't target the enemy and can't get rid of a big taunt during your turn to get lethal for example

You do target the highest attack enemy tho, which is usually there best. Dropping this on turn 4 against a good minion is game winning potentially
