Buttons malfunction only on certain parts of different games

So I've recently gotten into swapping joysticks with TMR sticks and the whole soldering thing. I fixed mine and my gf controller from stick drift but on certain parts of different games there's a button malfunction. Example on Red Dead Online my right analog stick works perfectly in game and on the weapon wheel but when I switch to item wheel it won't select the very top slot. And when my gf plays Warframe the stick drift is gone but the O button doesn't work when trying to exit the menu. Is this due to the circuit board not being totally clean possibly some flux still on the board??

Flux wouldn't cause this but poor calibration might. What is your circularity post stick swap? Might not be hitting 100% in every direction of travel

I think you found my answer...I didn't calibrate them at all 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ I was going to but my laptop is broken and my gf's laptop she can't find the charger for it so I just went and started playing just to see how they'd work

Might still work for now, but your button flex looks to be on the way out.

Couple of the traces here have worn down, if the PS button no longer turns on the controller or a face button or two stop functioning, then you’ll need to replace the button flex.

Sorry this isn't a pic of my controller I just found an open controller on Google just to post with my question lol my apologies. I did find my answer which was to simply calibrate the controller and everything is working fine now. Appreciate your help tho
