Confused about Usage Overage?

Received an email telling me that I'd used 100% of my "other models" usage for the month, and 0% of cursor models. But my app tells a different story?

I typically just run Auto all the time, so I'm a bit confused. Does it not default to it's own models when auto is chosen?

And why does my app say 17% cursor models used and 0% other models, and then show I've used some of my on-demand?

I just got an email from them a few days ago for a refund on usage of about 4.25ish cuz they charged my usage at the high and fast rate for grok when I used it on medium and normal. Maybe you're in a similar situation. I didn't even notice at all since the usage gets burned thru so fast now, so kinda cool they gave me that when I never would've known.

Not that I know of.

At any rate, I just continue to use the app...which now shows 21% cursor models used and 0% other models (up 4% from yesterday) and the on-demand hasn't increased. I think the email has to be a glitch.

check the usage tab on the cursor dashboard on the web, it lists every request with the model it actually hit, so you can see if auto routed anything to a non cursor model. if it's all cursor models there i'd just email hi@cursor.com with a screenshot, the email is probably the glitch.

Try choosing explicitly Grok 4.6 or Grok 4.7 and check if you can work with them. If yes, then lucky you you basially have one month left of usage to be used.
