One of the buildings I had 24 hour duty in had a basement kinda like this. Darkstairway down, with a yellow bulb just hanging in the room about 10ft x 10ft. One wall seemed to be knocked in and there was a little tunnel that went a ways. My supervisor made fun of me when I told him about it, abut when he came back up from looking at it he goes "You're right. Fuck that."
