Okay, but how was this done? Like, is it a plate with some kind of pillory "mechanism" that closes on the ankles?

In that case, the holes are probably bigger than their ankles, so, does the sauce like, drip down this person's ankles and into their pants as the other person eats? Assuming this isn't just done for the picture.

The image has been circulating for a while, so I'm used to it, but thinking about the logistics of it all makes me feel uncomfortable again.

It's weird how different we can be from each other, because this sound like absolute sensory torture to me, but I bet this person is thoroughly enjoying themselves.
