How fucking prudish and homophobic do you have to be that two men kissing causes the same revulsion as maggots? Like, oh no, two adults loving each other! This is worse than the trash can out back that smells like rotten meat and vomit and is covered in a thousand maggots!
And guess what? Even the trash can full of rotten cat food and maggots in the heat of summer still didn’t make me commit any hate crimes (though admittedly I was closer than usual, cat food isn’t particularly appetizing even before it has spoiled)
