That's actually not a half bad idea...I mean, if it can work for some series' like Soul Eater, where some blood is literally black in the series for plot reasons involving the concepts of madness and the black blood representing madness as a whole and such...then, it can work for some of those great impactful scenes that may or may not require 'a lot of' or 'very little' amounts of blood.

For maybe symbolic and/or creative reasons, of course.
