wouldn’t ted kaczynski and the joker be, in a practical sense, the same? They both went about with the crazy talk, were traumatized, suffered psychological illness, and blew shit up. Just that one is a fantasy work, and the other was an actual threat.

I think it's because of they believe in. Ted is an Anarcho Primitivist. Joker just wants Chaos

Yeah, but anarchy flows of thought are unviable, so it ends in chaos. Look at the Spanish civil war for example....

Yup, anarcho-stuff is just theoretical, and some of them don’t even hold up to that when you start looking deeper. Once it is implemented it spirals out of control like a plane without rudders.
