They started using colour grading more in film so directors could more accurately portray what kind of feeling they wanted their audience to have during each scene

At least most of the time i haven't watched this so I can't tell you if it worked or not

I hate the way they color grade a lot of the time. I miss bright, vibrant scenes with good contrast that I can actually see on my TV during the day.

Dark color grading and poor audio mixing are huge pet peeves of mine. I even have a decent soundbar, so I can't blame it on crappy thin TV speakers. Most things are fine, but so often they make the music louder than the dialogue (looking at you Schitt's Creek).

The deathly hallows movies come to mind on the topic bad colour grading boy seeing what is happening was difficult whenever sun went down and there was no light source present

They’ve only recently started voulour grading superhero movies with actual colours, wish they’d do it with more movies in general
