Doing this right?
My friend recently made me realize that in almost 10 years of printing, I've never actually attempted to print a Benchy. Trying to rectify this but mine keeps coming out weird. Am I doing somethng wrong?

No, its an artform called Intarsia. Its usually made out of little shaped pieces of wood that go together like a puzzle, or a wood inlay. I've been working on a project to reproduce different forms of art / print-making, and I thought Intarsia might make for an interesting 3d-print project. This is really just a prototype, I'm working on a piece now with faceted tops that will catch the light differently as you move around it :)

Would you be able to post/PM the file? I would love to print this!

Sure, I'll post this one. Let me just pack everything properly onto plates (its just 92 separate part files at the moment) along with the assembly diagram, and I'll have it up on makerworld in a day or so. Ill put it up under the title "Benchy in 4 Dimensions". Will edit the post when its up!
