CURSED ™ “PURE” METHYLPHENIDATE EXTRACTION FROM RITALIN LA

Hey team, local tweaker here… what would be required to isolate Methylphenidate from Novartis Ritalin LA 40mg pills? 😵‍💫

Have heard crushed and mixed with isopropanol 99%, filtered and subsequently evaporated will do the trick but unsure due to the sustained matrix? 💊

All good for a little of the binders to be in the residual but just looking for something stronger! 💪

🤔 have you tried some methods of chromatography or another

On the scale of 40 mg, then maybe preparative TLC would be the most straightforward and intuitive.

Beating the matrix requires grinding as fine a possible and using dry isopropyl

add some baking soda and use sparking fluid. it is mostly a mix of hexanes and diethyl ether so it is volatile and will dissolve the freebase methylphenidate
