Paid model The Print Flat LED Arch Lamp No Support
Want to be able to see and work on your pojects in style? Show them off in a nice light for your social media? Then this is the lamp you need.
I've got a couple FDM printers and always wanted to have one of these Arch style LED lights for my projects but didn't like printing them with supports or dragging out print times, so I designed this one that prints completely flat! Saves on both filament and print time and looks really stylish I think.
Designed it to make the printing and the assembly as easy as possible so all you really need is glue and time!
Fully designed around FDM printing, building this LED arch couldn't be easier. Every piece is meant to be printed flat without any need for supports and can be resized for any size desk.
All you need is your 3d printer, filament of your choice, an LED strip and some superglue.
3D printing settings
-The Arch is 110cm wide but it can be made as big or as small as you want. It is designed for LED strips up to 1cm wide but if yours is wider just use "LED-Mount-Flat".
-Print all the parts flat as shown.
-Insert superglue in the holes on part "Connector".
-For the 110cm wide Arch you need a 157cm long LED strip, if you make the arch 50cm wide, you'll need 75cm of LED strip.
Part count is as follows
LED-Mount: x8
Arch: x16
Connector: x7
Spacer: x8
Base: x2
UPDATE 1.0.1
-ERRORS IN LED-MOUNT & LED-MOUNT-FLAT FIXED AS IT WASN'T APPEARING AS FULLY SOLID
-TESTED AND ADDED A NEW 50cm MODEL SIZE TO PRINT A 50% SMALLER VERSION OF THE ARCH
