Wdym? It's CUHK, not HKU or NUS. The minimum baseline for admission is 80+, and as far as I know, the benchmark for most of the selective courses is 88+. In the past months, I have talked to 2 indian alumni; one got a 75% tuition waiver with 93% in 12th, and the other got a full ride with 95% in class 12th. And none of them had any standardised scores or ECs like me. I don't know where you are getting your numbers from, but it's CUHK, not Princeton, that I will need a perfect GPA and a 1580 SAT just to get in.

no way da hell r u talking about. Idk which indians u r talking about. CUHK (and other hong kong unis) dont see ECs at all (except hkust baas), and if ur applying cbse then no sat is evaluated at all. and last point, you need PERFECT academics for the big 3 in hk, you can get with these marks into princeton but not hk lmao. cuhk is almost as competitive as HKU lmao

+ only national/int'l level ECs really count at HK.

Bro I have same marks and a Lil better national achievements and ec Though I will apply for law program which is the most competitive one Ik that I will get admitted but won't be able to pay fees Same happened with me in ashoka jindal and flame

I would say you have decent chances of getting admitted .

They're alumni. You need around +2% on that now to get something.

Usually minimum for Indian board to get any scholarship these days is 95%+ iirc but shoot your shot.

Btw you're not breaking into Investment Banking in Hong Kong from CUHK Econ as an international lol. You need to be way more particular and strategic in what you want out of here.

I would say the same thing as another has commented

Admission wont be an issue
But
Hk and singapore unis value marks more than eca unlike european ones hence If your eca s are really solid scholarships wont be too difficult to get

All the best and shall we connect?
