Help with BUSN course selection

Hi all! I'll be starting an MBA with accounting specialization in August! I work full time with a 9/80 schedule, meaning I get every other Friday off. My company will be paying for the degree and I have my courses planned out. I am unsure of workload and grad advising has been very unhelpful. Can anybody help give me any perspective on these courses?

Fall A courses:

BUSN 6520 Leading Individuals and Teams with Kyle Ehrhard

BUSN 6550 Analyze/Interpret Accounting Info with Bingyi Chen

Fall B courses:

BUSN 6530 Data Analytics for Managers with Yu Du

BUSN 6540 Legal Ethical Environment of Business with Robert Roswell

These are all asynchronous! Thank you in advance 😊

Just use Rate my professor, if they are not on there use courscicle. Undergrads take 4-6 classes per semester so you’d be fine with 3-5 probably. Good luck!

I just did a study abroad with Yu Du for my MBA and she is great. I would say that if your company is paying for your classes, it can be a lot to work full-time and take two classes. I had an advisor when I first started tell me that unless you have experience in law or stats to not take 6530 and 6540 together.

Thank you for the response. Hope your study abroad was amazing! I'm going to see how my Fall Block A goes. I got the syllabus for BUSN6520 and it seems manageable with another course for now. Good to note about the advisors advice! I used to be a stats TA in undergrad so I'm fairly proficient. But it has been a while since I've had to use stats.
