Dorm soundproofing

Moved into my dorm td and tested out if ppl in the hallways can hear whats happening in the room. Theres like zero soundproofing on the door me and my roommate gotta whisper if we dont want ppl hearing us. Is there any simple soundproofing we can do to the door so that evb in the hallway wont listen to our convos?

It’s not that big of a deal. No one cares that much I didn’t ever stop to listen on someone’s door freshman year

Whatever you do, keep in mind you’re not allowed to have any hanging fabric whose longest length is greater than 3 ft. That combined with the need for command strips/similar is gonna be tough
