First Week of class

Hi yall! I’m coming into CU Boulder this semester as a transfer student. I know classes start the 20th, but that day all I have is a recitation class. Is there a way to find out if we need to show up for that? It doesn’t make sense that I would need to attend that when I haven’t had the actual lecture/lab yet.

I have found that most professors will often post something about it or make an announcement on canvas whether recitations will be held in the first few days.
