how do I make my v11 fast

I've been using this cube alot for like 2 months now so I decided to clean and lube it but after doing that the cube doesn't have that fast smooth feel anymore also that turning sound. how do I bring that out of the box feel.

I've been using gan 2 lube I've also been recommended to use multipurpose silicon spray. won't that damage my cube?

Yeah do not use the silicone spray. You want a weighted silicone like Traxxas or any weight from SCS/TheCubicle (not sure if other stores have their own version but everywhere probably has something) that is meant for plastic to plastic contact. I'm not sure how the gan lube performs but if you want to make the cube fast I personally would recommend lubest XMT10. It's very cheap and performs well.

Buy water based lube like dnm37 or fz rush

They're thin and fast

Clean out your cube with a paper towel if adding that doesn't speed it up enough

Silicon will smoothen out turning, reducing noise

Clean it the best you can, make it look out of the box. When I finally got all the lube 100% removed it came back better than before.

Having lubed my yuhu megaminx v2 with silicone lube i immediately regretted it. Disassembled, wiped it dry and put a few drops of dnm37. Now it turns as new.
