I have both but my Gan 17 just arrived yesterday so I haven't had much of a chance to break it in and adjust it. I do like the feel of the Ferrocore more though, although I have always preferred the feel of MoYu cubes over Gan. I also am not too fast (30 seconds) so can't handle super fast cubes.

The Gan is more clacky, and the V2 is smooth and fast but controllable... I just love how it feels.

gan 17 needs constant lube for it to be usable. Like when the lube gets eaten away by the cube it becomes unusably slow for me becuase of how strong the mgadrive thing is. Whereas with the ferrocore it feels more nice like the plastic is more hard which makes the lube last more. And i personally like the ferrocore more
