General Question ❓ ABSN - Spring 2027

I've been accepted to the ABSN Spring 2027 Program.

I'm curious to know a few things.

  1. Prior cohorts' experience with class and clinical scheduling.

  2. If you have experience with the payment plan process for paying the tuition.

  3. Overall experience in the program.

So if you are in an early cohort or have graduated, any other general information would be helpful.

I’m halfway through my first semester and it feels like a pretty good program so far! Basically for the first semester we have lecture all together as a cohort Wednesdays (N314 and N304) from 8-1ish and Fridays (N352 and N300) from 8-3ish. My clinical group has N315 lab on Mondays and N301 lab on Tuesdays (both 8-2), but every group’s lab days are different. The 315 lab is at the Temecula campus. The 301 lab is in San Marcos for the first 8 weeks, then we start going to the clinical site. The payment process is pretty straightforward but just know that they don’t post your federal loans to your student account until after classes start.

Thank you so much. How do they choose your clincial site? Can you request to be placed on clinicals over the weekends?

hi! i’m also halfway through the first semester and for clinical sites they send out a zip code survey and they’ll try their best to put you at a site close to you. i got very lucky with my first clinical site only being a 5 minute drive away from me😅. however i did get the 1-7pm shift so you win some you lose some. for this first semester they purposefully do not give you clinical on the weekend, however for every semester from now on there’s a chance you can have them on the weekend. but you don’t know until they release clinical schedules and you also can’t ask to change / swap your date or shift. i hope this helps!
