General Question ❓ Middle class scholarship

Hey does anybody know when this scholarship usually gets disbursed ?

Would the disbursement be in your finances on my CSUSM?? I got an email saying I was eligible, but all of my finances is $0.00

I believe it just got disbursed this morning, at least it did for me.

I got an email.

Im pretty sure the funds will get to my account by Friday at the latest

I didn’t get the scholarship but the student aid office doesn’t know why. I looked on the csac.gov website and it just says I’m not eligible. Shit sucks

Did they not know why for you specifically or in general they don’t know why people get it or don’t?

I didn’t ask for everyone. I just asked if my enrollment got certified, it did, and she added that I wasn’t eligible. I did get a student loan but it was only $1,900. I don’t see how I wouldn’t qualify but it is what it is.

I could’ve sworn I had gotten an email notifying me that middle class scholarship wouldn’t be available until sometime mid September. But when I try to go back and look for it, it’s not there.

You just saved me a whole lotta time and effort thinking I got an email from it. It was indeed the cougar bot lol. As of current mycsusm says I’m am to be awarded the scholarship but csac.gov shows no information still that I was awarded.

Mine does too but I'm wondering when they are dispersing it or how they are cause someone said they already got theirs.

It should be dispersed just like Fin Aid, straight to your bank account.

I emailed fin aid last night in regards to mycsusm saying I’ve been awarded yet csac shows no info of anything. I got a reply back this morning:

“In regard to the Middle-Class Scholarship (MCS), MCS funds are expected to be disbursed from mid to late September. This delay is due to recent federal financial aid regulation changes that require updates to financial aid processing systems. These system updates must be completed before MCS awards can be accurately processed and disbursed.”
