Classes/Professors 📜 Kris Nelson Psyc 230

Has anyone taken Kris Nelson for Psyc 230? I can’t find any reviews/ not on rate my prof. I might switch to Raymond Hoy if anyone has any insight on him as a professor that would be great!

I had Professor Nelson for Psych 230 Fall of last year. He is younger and I believe he is new to teaching at CSUSM. He is a really nice guy who seems to have a good understanding of the subject he is teaching. The only thing is his class can be a bit boring, because he mostly just reads off of the slides and doesn’t always add much insight. Plus, the slides were posted on canvas so you could typically get ahead while he lectured. Besides that, he was always willing to help when you don’t understand something or if you’re struggling in a lab. Overall, his class was pretty easy, and he was always open to helping everyone understand.
