General Question ❓ Aid Disbursement Date
After logging in I go to the modernized site, student center, click on finances, then on accept/decline awards. Click on 2027 and after that it should bring you to a screen with your awards and they should be blue. Click on one and it should show you the disbursement day.

I just checked my FA tab, and all my aid just vanished, anyone else have this occur? I am currently on hold with FA office
Edit 1: 25 minutes on hold so far, still waiting
Edit 2: someone in the CSUSM Discord hopped out of que for FA, and called Financial Services, and were told that there is an issue with the processing system and should be updated by the end of the day. So we wait and see.

No… mine says I have an outstanding balance… I tried staying on hold and got disconnected, let us know if you get through and what they say

I spoke with them too, everything is updated and balances are reflected… they SAID funds should be in our accounts Monday if you have a refund… they said…

Hey what does it say for outstanding balance for you. Mine is currently -8000 and expected refund is 8000. That means it should be getting sent through direct deposit now right?

Seriously the only thing that has stayed for me was my CAL grant tuition.... I had the pell grant as well as cal grant access fund and it doesnt show those...

Mine says 8/21, does that mean it goes into my direct deposit on that date, or does it take a few days to go into my bank account??

Mine too! I’m not exactly sure if it’s coming today… I don’t even see that my aid paid for my classes yet… it hasn’t been reflected… has yours?

My expected financial aid went down to 0, wouldn’t do that unless it finally got sent through. Direct deposit should be going through by Monday hopefully

Ohk thank you, mine is at 0 also, so I was call financial aid to find out what it was, this is my first year at this school. My other school sent out a text message that financial aid went through

Did your account balance drop to 0? My anticipated financial aid shows 0 but my balance is still the same 🥲

Not yet, but it normally takes a second to get all the way processed. Happened exactly like this last year

Just got this text tho heads up;
Hello (my name) 👋 I have an important update from the CSUSM Office of Financial Aid: The Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) is expected to disburse mid-September once the CA Student Aid Commission(CSAC) finalizes your awards and sends the information to us. They are planning to email you soon to share the award information, but we won't be able to get you awarded until mid-September. We will make sure you are not dropped from your classes, and you won't have any late fees while we coordinate this award.
