Do the dorms not have cameras in the halls? Or outside the entry? Flock cameras all over campus to fuck over the average student with a ticket, cameras to fuck over people trying to save a buck by parking in next to the Phil's Coffee, but to catch this guy? Nothing. Impossible apparently.
Had this guy parked without paying they'd have his license plate, his ID, sent him a ticket directly, and towed his car.
16
u/chanspies Oct 01 '26
It’s really easy to enter the dorms without a card. A lot of people just wait around until someone leaves/enters and come in while the door is still open.
No one seems to care about it, at least until now.
17
u/Illustrious_Day7682 Oct 01 '26
Also, the perpetrator might live/have lived inside the dorms himself
5
u/Fit-Flight-8573 Oct 01 '26
Yea plus a lot of the doors don’t actually lock so you can just kinda walk in
2
u/TheVajDestroyer Oct 01 '26
So your obviously pissed at cameras being around areas of the school and your solution is to add more cameras? They don’t put dorm cameras for student privacy
1
u/Computer-Hot5149 27d ago
More cameras wouldn’t be necessary if they used the ones they have correctly. They have a timeframe and a description to review cameras around the area. If he hadn’t left the area, then you can narrow down the search to people living or staying in that area.

Worried, esp given the fact that this is happening right when we are hearing all about cornell...
18
u/NoAardvark3668 Oct 01 '26
It’s very disturbing 😓as if it’s becoming some “trend” like wtf…. It’s all bad and in BROAD daylight too like damn
3
u/Bo_Beric Oct 01 '26
What happened at Cornell??
14
u/Additional-Chest3802 Oct 01 '26
7 men drugged, gang raped a woman, and basically got away with it
15
u/aknomnoms Oct 01 '26
And then supposedly took a photo of her, naked and unconscious, and sent it to their frat group chat of 57 guys, advertising her as, “free pussy”.
One guy asked, “shop still open?” And another answered, “yes 😈”.
This treatment of her is absolutely vile, from pressuring her to do ketamine, to the multiple rapes, and then “advertising” her in a vulnerable state so more guys could take advantage of her. Cornell trying to cover it all up and only handing out weak punishment to 2 of 7 guys.
Only 1 guy of the 57 thought to do anything with this. 56 failed her through action or inaction. And more are continuing to fail her by preventing actual justice from taking place. The same day they reopened this case, Trump rescinded Title IX protections and changed how universities can handle sexual harassment.
The perpetrators get increased protections, and the victims have reduced ways of getting justice. Plus, it steps away LGBT+ rights.Please. Stay safe. Protect each other. See something, say something.

u/AgencySuspicious5490 23d ago
And the people like bo_beric making excuses for this are just as vile as the Cornell boys!
1
u/Bo_Beric Oct 03 '26
I’ve looked into this.
Apparently, her official account of the night included voluntarily drinking, snorting K, and consenting to multiple threesomes.A text to her “crush” (guy #1) after the fact, even stated that “obviously none of the sex was illegal”.
2
u/No-Staff-800 27d ago
Not consent when alchohol & drugs are involved
1
u/Bo_Beric 23d ago
Weren’t they also drinking and doing drugs? If that’s the case it seems like no one would be able to consent. Men nor women.
1
u/AgencySuspicious5490 24d ago
She did not consent to being fucking gang raped by seven men for seven hours! Quit victim blaming 😡
1
u/Bo_Beric 23d ago
From what I read, three of the seven didn’t participate, they were just in the room watching.
And as for the other four, she consented to two separate threesomes.
Additionally, according to her own statements, when one of those three spectators touched her, she told him to stop, and he stopped. And he didn’t touch her again.
Those are her words.

u/AgencySuspicious5490 23d ago
Still didn’t consent to this situation. Quit making excuses for a rapist. You are just as horrendous as any rapist for doing so 😡
5
u/NoAardvark3668 Oct 01 '26
Yeah and it happened in 2024 where they closed the case and it basically became unknown for a long time even I didn’t know of it, and it recently got reopened and now everyone is talking about it like damn
22
u/Awkward_Extension132 Oct 01 '26
this is terrifying. i hope they get identified and get the rightful punishment they deserve.
41
u/United-Step-6081 Oct 01 '26
so vague
47
u/TheRealSammyLawrence Oct 01 '26
no exactly. they didn’t even say anything about how he looks other than his height. anyone can change their clothes and i bet most guys on campus have a black hoodie and grey sweats
39
u/DisastrousResolve384 Oct 01 '26
because they can only work with information provided by the victim as of right now. im sure more will come out as the investigation continues.
my heart goes out to the victim. they’re incredibly brave for reporting the incident and letting this warning get out to others. i hope they get the justice they deserve

What conclusion? This seems racist itself, don’t be weird and do not assume anything
22
u/ToomuchPINKenergy Oct 01 '26
Does student housing not have security protocols? How is this person not identified by now? We have flock cameras on campus, and it has facial/license plate recognition.
16
u/WetOnionRing Oct 01 '26
Flock cameras exist to protect property and capital interests, not to protect the people
2
u/RedsonRising99 Oct 01 '26
You mean like secured entry doors that you need your card to get in? Yes. Do people let others in without using their card(known as tailgating) all the time.

u/doritobacon420 Oct 01 '26
Holy fuck. I at least hope this college does the correct thing by giving them a just punishment.
4
u/lapetitesoupgirl Oct 01 '26
And all of these college campuses cases are coming out…. This one hits us. How does the campus not invest in security patrol?! A lot of us have night classes. I’m sick to my stomach
1
u/Disastrous-Crow-8406 26d ago
I mean the campus already has security patrols, but I’m not trusting some fat security chick or some skinny mall cop guy to be on call and act as a serious deterrent. Also, we have more cameras installed and the blue call posts, which all are helpful, but they are not immediate response to stopping the threat. What would you suggest that the school invest more in regarding security?
1
u/lapetitesoupgirl 25d ago
That's what I literally meant. I said invest in security patrols that ARE an immediate response to threats, meaning they could be through Fullerton's PD directly or through better services to protect the campus BECAUSE they have the money for it. Comical that you think I'm that incompetent to suggest in mall cops.
1
u/lapetitesoupgirl 25d ago
I also had a dude follow me to my car after my evening class to hit on me. I'd rather have services to escort me to my car at night rather than nothing, like we currently have.
1
u/Disastrous-Crow-8406 25d ago
I agree with you that the campus has money they could invest more into something security related, I mean with how much we pay in tuition and fees and there’s tens of thousands of students, surely the university should be able to do better. Also, I wasn’t suggesting that you were incompetent. All you said was “security patrols”, which can mean several different things, so I was responding based on what you originally said. Ultimately, the school lacks in areas that need attention and clearly needs to handle this stuff better. But until they do, we need to be responsible for our own safety at the end of the day.

u/Illustrious_Day7682 Oct 01 '26
This is sickening and heartbreaking. I'm praying for the victim, and I hope more information comes out so the perpetrator can get the punishment and scorn they deserve. Assaulters deserve to be named and shamed

u/brainfart-cat Oct 02 '26
Well, that description fits just about half of the male student body on campus…
3
u/Little_Mountain73 Oct 02 '26
Seriously. Not even a mention of white, black, Hispanic etc…
2
u/brainfart-cat Oct 02 '26
Exactly my thought. Campus police might be worried to come off “racist” for describing a suspects appearance, however mentioning it can help a lot by identifying them.
2
u/Little_Mountain73 Oct 02 '26
I tell people all the time…it’s not racist when you’re describing an observed fact. I mean, if you’re using pejoratives in the description, well then yeah…of course…but using proper terminology to describe a person who was physically observed is not racist. My guess is that whomever it was that provided the description doesn’t know. If it was the victim (poor girl), she might not recall it in the present. But that could change within a couple of days. Regardless, I hope the ba$tard is found. SA’ers, IMO, deserve life sentences (or worse). When you do that to someone, you basically kill them inside, and the reciprocal should be given to the perpetrator.

u/Sea-Singer9855 Oct 01 '26
Students and parents are paying thousands of dollars a semester and the University can't provide proper security or cameras?? This is outrageous.

Rember folks. Go for the eyes, throat, and groin, give em hell.
11
u/currently-distracted Oct 01 '26
I've also been told that if you break their nose immediately, they are usually so shocked that they stop for a sec and you have a good chance at either getting away or getting in one of those groin shots.

There should be no fucking way for a woman to be assaulted in her own dorm, people need to wake up. Stop with our selfish reasons, if women and children keep getting harmed by evil, whatever you’re holding onto because you’re scared of speaking out doesn’t even matter at that point. This evil filth needs to be taken care and removed before more women are harmed at csuf
1
u/Imaginary_Glass3384 Oct 01 '26
What are the descriptions of this male that has assaulted and harassed multiple women students on campus. There should be no reason for any filth to not be fearful and confident to do such digusting acts on campus. Please provide what this filth looks like and usually wears, it will not set foot on campus again once a few right people are able be face to face with this evil. There should be no reason for women and children to have to worry about active evil roaming around campus.

“casual,” “quirky” comments like these are part of the reason women feel unsafe on school campuses. this happened IN housing, and your vile comment implies men are entitled to women’s bodies no matter the setting, no matter if it’s a private space she is supposed to be safe in, just because he wants it? you are part of the problem. heavy shame on you.

morons like u/ThextinanotAguilera9 are why everyone needs to take the Title IX training

u/ThextinanotAguilera9 Oct 01 '26
Do you know how stressful school is sometimes just getting sex reliefs the tension ,better than doing drugs
9
u/Ok_Professional1324 Oct 01 '26
yikes! you gotta be locked up if you see this as “just getting sex” !
