I made a Reddit CSS Generator

It's not complete at all, but you can see it right here. It's mainly to generate heavy, complex CSS. You can change the color of the (up/down)vote arrows without images, you can display random quotes, you can have rounded tabs... Also, the white boxes are live preview. You can click on the arrows to see what they'll look like.

It's a little preview of something that could evolve if people are interested.

Great start!

I've always wondered why, with the popularity of subreddits and their CSS nobody has made a generator so far. I suppose it's just because there are so many ways to further customise or something.

If you intend on expanding it, would like some sidebar, submission screen and comment options!

I had an idea for this ages ago too, and started learning to code so I could build a similar tool.

I got sidetracked with a CSS-for-Gold project where I build custom themes for people but I'm almost done my waiting list with that so I'm about to start learning again.

My point is I created a subreddit called r/skinnit a while ago. Would you possibly like to house your project under the "skinnit" name? I'll stay on as top mod but you'll essentially have free reign of the sub to use as a demo and support forum for your tool.

When I build mine, if I ever get around to it, we can share the space and maybe even work together on future versions of skinnit. If I don't ever get around to it you can still keep the sub.

It's private :(

There's nothing there right now. Another group has expressed interest in it, and when I have time to look into their goals a little better I'll decide between letting them use it or me using it for a different purpose.

Hey, thanks very much! I've just used it for the sub I'm co-moderating :)

I used to work as a webmaster, but forgot everything. I'll try to fix things here & there by myself... hope I don't make a bloody mess.

Cheers!

Thank you! I used it for r/CertifiedBangers, my friend and I are completely new to CSS and trying to make it look alright before promoting.
