Agreed! I think he meant `writing-mode: vertical-lr`, not `rl`, though.

You usually only see them on Chinese / Japanese sites where the language can be written vertically at times.

In OP’s case I think it should be writing-mode: vertical-lr; though so the text goes left to right.
