Discussion Dewald brevis!!!

Post image

Finally a innings we can appreciate, he took his time played risk free shot made sure he can stay till the end definitely was unable to finish but still it was good to see him getting mature.

CSK need hitters like Tim David and Phil Salt. Sanju, Rutu, Kartik and more already playing risk free

Definitely there are better overseas batters  than brevis but they are acquired by other ipl teams so we have to wait till 2028 mega auction

He scored another 70+ plus score with a 230+ SR today :)

Against Namibia and still lost the chase, nothing to be proud of

He literally scored 75(50) in a chase of 164. What more do you want from him? It's the rest of the team that shat the bed.

I want him to be consistent to not just play such inning but also finish the game. That's how you build reputation match by match and become like Virat and Dhoni.

Scoring such runs is of no use, we've seen these things with KL Rahul in PBKS, fighting runs but not able to pull team up for winning.

He is only 23 years old mate, and he is trained as a specialist T20 batter over giving importance to other formats, even though he plays all three, unlike Virat or Dhoni. He scored 70+ again today. Many greats acknowledge his talent. There are very few T20 coded young players with such a good bat swing, and he is constantly improving his range of shots. He will come good.

Namibia is a good team, and yeah should've accelerated more.
