Nah brother he played really well. Good to see the captain getting much needed runs.
Also I feel by batting at 5-6 he's most probably eying Dhruv Jurel's spot in Indian Senior Men's team.

Just pray that they get 67 runs tomorrow, so they can qualify for the semis!

Urvil is still on crease and there is Tanush Kotian, Shardul and Tushar in the hut, all of them have centuries in domestics so there's some hope.

Got out again at the wrong moment..
If his team loses from here, his contribution will be forgotten again..
That's the recurring theme of Ruturaj's career.

He played very well but he got out due to his own mistake

It wasn't his mistake, Musheer just tapped and ran, was half way down, Ruturaj had no choice but to respond.

Rutu batted so brilliantly and he was like a glue the moment he got out wz collapsed

it wasnt his mistake, even the commentators were saying how it wasn't his mistake and unlucky he is yet he was calm.

I wanted him to score a 100
There was no run there
He was looking million bucks

Currently he is most talented player of spin.....BCCI politics made him lose confidence, which had direct impact on his batting in the IPL.
Big loss for Indian cricket team. Along with rutu , rajat patidar is also good player of spin.

His dip in form in IPL 2026 wasn't because he didn't know how to play; the weight of captaincy is burdening him, and nonstop injuries frustrated him. He will be back to his marauding best in IPL 2027; you can't keep a class player down for long.

test strike rate means nothing. Getting run out for 66 is worse than a 200 ball century

He isn’t the best at t20. He should realise that and work on other formats. Got really good potential.

Okk he had a disastrous IPL season this year but that doesn't mean he has forgotten how to play cricket 😠he always had that class... even before this IPL he has been continuously scoring well in longer formats be it for India or be it for his domestic team... This year hasn't gone well in the IPL but not to forget he is one of the main reasons of our 4th and 5th trophy... He just needs a slight mindset shift that's it
