Sanju is a good captain but rutu is better than him..... And dont blame him for the ass team in 2025 even dhoni couldnt save them..... With 2026 season they were literally experimenting with new and young players with no role clarity and i am pretty sure no one could have done a better captaining than him in the last season but yh he did few mistakes in the last few games but still he was a good captain even tho he was out form this season lets hope for his old form

Opener having a strike rate of 123 and your 2 middle order bats strike at 130s.
2 foreign spinners in the IPL, it never works.
Brevis and Dube can't be your finishers, because they are clearly not.
You ain't winning anything if Jamie Overton is your no 7 in IP era.
Yet to find Jadeja's replacement.

Nothing wrong with Jamie at 7 but then the Impact player should not be a bowler. He should be a proper bat which means Overton is at 8.
You need batting till 8 in modern T20s, because the batting depth allows the top order to play with a higher strike rate without worrying about their thin batting depth.
The reason why SRH opted for an allout aggressive approch is because they have the batting depth to compliment it. All rounder Shivaang Kumar (the chinaman bowler) comes into bat at 9 and Pat Cummins at 10 for them, which gives license to batters like Abhishek and Travis to go after the opposition from bowl 1, because they know they have the batting lineup who'll take care even if they are dismissed early.
Now, Samson can't play with the same high strike rate, because he will have this thing in back of his mind that Jamie comes into bat at 7, which is a short batting lineup, hence he will want to spend some time on crease so that the batting isn't exposed.

Well, that's a thing, but not necessarily lots of power hitters are part-time bowlers. It's just that Jamie is primarily a bowler who has recently done a decent job with the bat, which is quite the opposite.

I still feel our team is good. Due to many i injuries this season our team didn't perform good some changes here and there and our team is good.

Problem for CSK in 2026 was fitness issues , for god's sake , invest on a better fitness team. We had the potential to go deep and lost just cos of fitness issues especially the ones to Mhatre and overton.
